It originates in the Gulf of Mexico and flows past Miami up the Atlantic Coast. The current forms a river that is 60 miles wide and is warmer than the surrounding ocean.

The Gulf Stream waters offshore Miami and Miami Beach boasts a large variety of fish that we target including Amberjack, Great Barracuda, Dolphin (mahi-mahi), Bonito, Cobia, Grouper, Mackerel, Marlin, Sailfish, Wahoo, Tuna, Snapper and Shark.
